Don’t just live in your community. Help keep your community safe.

We are a 100% volunteer organization. We meet at 6pm on the 2nd and 4th  Wednesdays of every month at the Fire House (with occasional trainings in other locations). The 3rd Wednesday of the month is dedicated to Emergency Medical Technician training.

The MVFC pays for any specialized training courses.

Only those who have completed their Fire Fighter One (FF1) training can enter a burning building. There are many other jobs for first responder volunteers---e.g. EMT work, directing traffic, running hoses, setting up lights at a scene, etc.

In addition the MVFC is always in need of those who can help with building maintenance projects, shoveling, hosting events, presenting fire safety education (training is provided), accounting, web skills, communication, marketing, fundraising, etc. We will find a place for you!

And, the MVFC Board is always looking for folks to help us guide the finances and provide support to the first responders.
